I want to be domesticated, a humanitarian, a foodie, a fashionista, & a world-traveler. In the meantime, I'm a 24 year old grad student in beautiful Southern California. I'm from the cookie-cutter suburbs, but have recently relocated to Los Angeles. Here are my thoughts & adventures! Twitter: @tiffanyjam

- Landed an internship that made me really start to love my field, which eventually turned into a paid position. Advocacy Intern turned Program Coordinator, yay!
- Finished my first year of grad school at CSULB, started my 2nd year, and applied for graduation.
- Watched these acts live: Foster the People, Journey/Foreigner, Chris Brown/T-Pain/Bow Wow (F.A.M.E. Tour), Jay-Z & Kanye West (Watch the Throne). Maybe some others I forgot…but Watch the Throne was THE BEST.
- Went to Vegas 5 times. This sounds expensive, but it really was not. I spent probably $80 for the entire weekend last month (perks of being a girl with friends that get free rooms).
- Went to my first Laker game against my 3rd favorite team, OKC Thunder.
- Moved into my grandpa’s house in LA.
- Became a Do Over “season pass holder”. I think I went 7 or 8 times. Done over for sure.
- Spent my first weekend(s) away with college friends. I know I’m late, 2 years after graduation.
- Reconnected with my family in the LA area/Valley! This is very recent, but we’ve managed to get together 2x in the past few weeks, which is a HUGE improvement from not even seeing each other yearly. I think this has a lot to do with us being older (somehow we can relate more now that we’re in our mid-twenties/thirties) and me moving to this area.
- Successfully held true to my Year of the Upgrade : only 1 project and internship hours away from graduation, went to the gym a lot (well, except when I moved to LA) and consciously made somewhat healthier choices (2012—even better), went on dates and ended my 6-year boyfriend drought, and became a little bit better at loving myself (baby steps!).
