Grades came out yesterday. Needless to say, I didn’t do as well as I wanted, and that upsets me. My school bases grades on a curve and has an attrition rate that requires a certain percentage of first year law students to be given the boot at the end of the year. Alright, let me just get this quickly out of my system. I have a couple fair-weather guy friends from my undergraduate years who I only talk to on occasion. They’re the type of guys who tend to pop in and out of my life, coming and going as they see fit. On Friday after my last class, I IMed Fred on FB Chat and it looked something like this:
Me: Hey, what uuuuup?!
Fred: Nothing, packing for Vegas
Me: Oh what? When are you leaving?

Me: Ugh. I’m so jealous.

And 15 minutes later, I was driving from San Diego to meet up and head to Vegas.

because almost all the organizations that really interest me are located in…LOS ANGELES. Figures, right? Looks like I may be moving back “home” (or maybe even my actual home) for the summer for a job.
